Wheee this was an exercise in patience and I never want to do it again.
So, I’ve drawn Alanna of Trebond before, about 3 years ago. Looking back, I don’t feel I really captured how I pictured her in my head. I wanted to give her a more page-y haircut this time ‘round as would be befitting, slap a tonne of freckles on her, and show her chest binding. I dunno. ;x
This is the final result about twenty layers later on my Sketchbook Pro for kindle. I have zero pressure sensitivity on this program, and I am not using a dedicated drawing stylus, just one of the generic ones with the broad rubber tip (if you can really call it a tip it’s more like a nub).
Each freckle was literally hand drawn, since there are no freckle brushes, and there’s no selection tool or masking tool or clipping tool and hahahaha hahahahaha…. ha… ha…..
I never want to do this on my kindle again unless I get a better stylus / pressure sensitivity.
