My prices vary depending on the complexity of the piece requested, and as such the listed prices are guidelines and rough estimates of your prices.  I’m best at lineart and cartoon-style pieces, though I can pretty much try anything you ask for.

Ordering: I take orders from anyone, regardless of whether or not you have an account on tumblr or deviantArt.  When ordering, you must give me an alternate form of contact that you check on a regular basis (email is preferred). I do not take commissions over twitter messaging or IM. If you have any questions about the commission process, please ask!  I’m more than happy to answer these informally, but if you don’t have a tumblr or dA account, you can email me at kamiya [dot] kaoru [at] hotmail [dot] com. My ask box is also open to anonymous questions, which do not require tumblr accounts.

Accepted Payments: Google checkout is preferable - I would send you an invoice for the agreed upon amount via email. Paypal is an option, but less preferred.  If necessary, I do take money orders and cash. No checks, please.

Payment Requirements & Refunds: I expect at least one half of your payment before I start work.  Whether or not you do more than that is your call. In the event I am unable to finish your piece, I will provide a full refund for whatever price you paid.  Refunds will not be issued after pieces are greenlighted for completion / after the piece is delivered.

Delivery: Unless otherwise specified by the client, commissions will be done at my pace. If you have a due date, please specify before you place your order!

Fanart Policy: While I do take commissions for fanart, I am currently not accepting commissions for fanart from EA video game titles. I apologise, but EA’s policy regarding paying for fanart is a bit murky at best, and until my email to them regarding taking commissions is answered, I do not feel comfortable selling any commissions that depict EA ‘merchandise’. Other fanart is subject to my discretion, depending on the subject. [Not retroactive for current EA commissions]

“Adult Content” Policy:  I do not depict: explicit sex scenes or acts, lower genitalia, bestiality, scat, or anything that makes me uncomfortable. 

Yaoi/Yuri: In keeping with the above, I do depict sexual preferences of all types, including, but not limited to male/male and female/female. I also depict polyamourous situations. 

PRICES: As noted before, these prices are general guidelines for pieces, and vary based on the complexity of the piece. All prices are USD.

• Digital Sketches:  $5.00 bust, $10.00 full body
• Digital “Concept Art” Sketches: (includes monotone shading if desired) $10.00 ea.
• Digital “Inked” Lineart: $15.00
• Digital “Inked” Lineart 2: (includes monotone shading) $17.00
• Digital Flats: (includes lineart) $20.00+
• Traditional Sketch-Card: $25.00, buyer pays international shipping costs if applicable.
  
  
• DIGITAL PAINTING, CEL-SHADE, LIMITED PALETTE PAINTING: Unfortunately, I can no longer afford to offer these at my previous prices. These items will be based on a case-by-case basis, starting at no less than $50.00 USD.

Completed Commissions: posted to tumblr | posted to dA

Agreement: by ordering and paying for a commission, you agree that you will remain in-contact with me for the duration of your commission order. I check in with my clients upon the completion of each stage of the order before considering it finished. I will not progress to the next stage of the order without the greenlight from the client.  You also agree that, by agreeing to each stage of the order, you are satisfied with my work and are not eligible for a refund.
